More than a cell strainer – Uber-Strainer is a sterile Sample Preparation Device to separate, isolate, concentrate and process particles out of complex and/or diluted suspensions. The air-tight screw cap with a Luer Lock connector makes it possible to filtrate an unlimited amount of liquid. The strainer can be easily separated from the rest of the device and fits into a 50 ml tube.
Its modular design gives it versatility and a range of functionality. A simple click mechanism connects the strainer with the connector. The flow rate can be increased by evacuating the 50 ml tube via the luer-lock adaptor of the connector. The air-tight screw cap with luer-lock adaptor makes filtration under higher pressure possible. The insert disc of the cup disperses the liquid equally over the inner part of the strainer housing. The integrated PET-mesh is resistant against organic solvents. The adaptor can be airtightly inserted into the connector and creates the fitting in 15-, 2- and 1.5-ml tubes.
