The Flip-Strainer Brand “Pluristrainer” is a separation device (or cell strainer) for a wide range of laboratory applications where filtration, particle separation, and the purification of liquids are required. Its unique design features improved ventilation to avoid clogging for smart sample preparation. Pluristrainers are stackable to a cascade of strainers. They are flip-strainers and allow flashing back the separated particles. For large sample volumes, it can be combined with a funnel. It fits all major brand 50 mL centrifuge (conical) tubes. The combination with the Connector Ring allows the evacuation of the 50 ml tube-Strainer unit to increase the flow rate. Pressure exchange can be completely blocked. The sample will now stay inside the strainer and can be incubated/treated, including with commonly used cell lysis reagents.
